Striker’s
Youth League
2010-2011
1. All Youths who participate must be sanctioned
and comply with
2. Youth will be placed in perspective division
by age/skill as of August 1, 2010.
a. Pee Wees: 3 thru 5 years of age
b.
Bantams:
6 thru 8 years of age
c.
Preps:
9 thru 11 years of age
d.
Juniors:
12 thru 14 years of age
e.
Majors;
15 thru 18 years of age
f.
Seniors:
19 thru 20 years of age
3. This league shall be under the supervision of
the Youth Director who shall operate the youth league in cooperation
with the bowling center management.
4. Sanction Fees: Sanction fees will be included
in the weekly bowling fees and paid by the league through the association.
5. Entering Average: Entering Average will be established
after three consecutive games in one series. If less than three, revert back to vacancy.
6. Handicap and vacancy: They are as follows:
a. Pee Wees, 90%
between the bowler’s average and 100, Vacancy-100.
b. Bantams, 90% between the bowler’s average
and 100, Vacancy-100.
c. Preps: 90% between the bowler’s average
and 150, Vacancy-100.
d. Juniors-Majors-Seniors, 90% between the
bowler’s average and 200,
Vacancy-100
e. We will use an 8 point system; 2 points
for each game won, and 2
points for
total. Ties in game total will give each
team 1 point.
f. In the event of a tie, for year-end
awards, a 1 game roll-off shall be
rolled with
total pins declaring the winner.
7. Team roster: Team rosters may be made up of
any combination of four players.
8. Legal Line-Up: One roster player shall
constitute a legal line up.
9. Bowling Fees: Bowling Fees will be collected
by a league official by the end of the first game. Bowling fees are Pee Wees $7.50, Bantam,
Preps and Jr/Majors $9.00.
10. During league session, No youth bowler will be allowed to smoke on the bowling
center property. A designated smoking area for adults is
outside the bowling center by lanes 1 and 40.
Please do not smoke in the front entry way.
11. Absent Bowlers: Absent bowler average will be bowlers average less 10 pins. Absent bowler will be required to Pay $ 3.00 for each week absent.
12. Tardy Bowlers: Tardy bowler will be allowed
to bowl as long the anchor bowler on the opposing team has not completed the third
frame.
13. No Electronic devices of any kind may
be used during the bowling session. This
includes, and is not limited to, cell phones, MP3 players, and IPods.
14. Bowling shirts will be supplied by the
15. No hats or headdress of any kind may be
worn during league.
16. The game room is off limits during
league session.
17. Conduct: In the best interest of Bowling, no
foul language may be used or worn on any clothing.
18. Sign up will be Aug. 14, 2010 with league
starting Aug. 21, 2010 and ending around April 23, 2010. The Year end party will be scheduled two
weeks later.
19. Awards will be given per the following
criteria:
You must have bowled 2/3 of the league
scheduled games or 60 games. A bowler
