What Matters Most

This month I am going to take a break on actual bowling tips. With just wrapping up Thanksgiving and Christmas being just around the corner, the Bowling Solutions team would like to say thank you to all of our customers for their patronage. Our entire team strives to give you the best experience that you could possibly have in a bowling store. You see, most of our customers become a part of our extended families. We appreciate your business and will continue to have your best interest at heart at all times.

The best tip I can give to everyone is to reconnect with that family member you stopped talking to over something that happened in the past. Or how about that long lost family member who has moved away and become a very distant part of the family or just a distant part of your everyday routine? It is that time of year to look past our silly reasons and put aside our pride. It is time to look deep into what matters in life. Family and good friends is what truly matters and makes getting up in the morning really worth it. We all work a lot of hours at our jobs trying to win that rat race on daily basis and it is really easy to lose site of the things that really mean the most to us.

My family has been through a few things in our lives that has ultimately brought us much closer. But even with the lessons we learned, we still get caught up in each of our very, very busy lives and we tend to lose touch. Considering most of us work together in some way, the phone calls become more about business and less about just to see how each other is doing. The desire to be the best and successful in life tends to cloud our vision from the things that are most important to each of us, each other.

So during this Christmas season, use the vacation hours you have earned, shut off that work cell phone, and close up your laptops. Make some time for your family and friends. Suck it up and reach out to that person who you haven’t spoken to in awhile. I am certain just reading this has caused someone to enter your mind.

To wrap this up please don’t let this holiday season pass by you without calling up your long lost family member or telling that special someone that you love them. Don’t hesitate to grab your mom, dad, brother or sister, and give them a big hug. Let them know you appreciate them and everything that they do for you. Tell your kids that you love them and are proud of the people they are now and are becoming. Over all ,just look inside yourself and make your own decisions as to what matters the most to you.

Thank you very much for your time and have a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season!
